Museum Introduction

Shanghai Art Collection Museum (SACM) is the first museum in China specializing in artistic gift collection. The museum’s name is inscribed by Mr. Lv Zhangshen, curator of the National Museum of China. Located in the scenic Tianshan Park, the museum offers an elegant working environment.

Since establishment, SACM has successfully organized a series of exhibitions and events including: Costume Design Exhibition of famous dancer Yang Liping, Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin Collection Art Exhibition, the 1st to 6th Chinese-Japanese-South Korean Art Exhibitions, the 1st to 4th International (Shanghai) Intangible Culture Heritage Protection Forums etc. The museum has also received multiple awards including “Shanghai Student Social Practice Base”, “Shanghai Science and Technology Popularization Base”, “Changning District Civilized Unit”.

The museum boasts a young and energetic team with an education level of bachelor or above; half have completed graduate study and 1/3 have overseas backgrounds. The museum has long undertaken major governmental projects and has frequent international exchanges. In order to support the museum’s development, we are looking for talents from home and abroad for the following positions:

Art Gallery Director

(2 spots)

Requirements:

(1) Bachelor’s degree or above in management, marketing, or art-related fields;

(2) At least 3 years of work experience in Shanghai;

(3) Strong execution in communication, public relations and coordination;

(4) Capable of using English, Japanese or other languages in international communication;

(5) Good personal quality - overall and in arts, good personal image and dependability;

(6) Good leadership and management skills, sales experience in artwork or luxury products preferred;

(7) Driver’s license required, good knowledge of office software;

(8) First-time contract lasts 3 years or more, with a trial period of 6 months;

(9) Location: art galleries under Shanghai Art Collection Museum.

Design Specialist

(2 spots)

Requirements:

(1) Bachelor’s degree or above in environment art design, industrial design, graphic design or other related fields;

(2) Good professional skills in design software, high level in exhibition design;

(3) Good writing and photography skills;

(4) Good mindset, upright personality, and ability to work under pressure;

(5) Ability of at least one foreign language;

(6) Practical work-style, strong adaptability, capable to handle various product development;

(7) Applicants with Shanghai household registration and driver’s license preferred;

(8) First-time contract lasts 3 years or more, with a trial period of 6 months; upcoming graduates receive an internship allowance, and outstanding interns can be hired after internship.

Chief Accountant

Requirements:

(1) Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, financial management or related fields, and a valid Accounting Qualification Certificate are required, qualification of Medium Level Accountant preferred;

(2) At least 3 years of work experience, familiarity with Computerized Accounting, good skills of accounting software;

(3) Familiarity with overall work process, national laws and regulations related to accounting and tax, strong sensitivity to information;

(4) Good skills in handling procedures, strong abilities in learning, individual working, problem solving and financial analysis, risk awareness;

(5) Responsible for overall finance coordination and management, familiar with tax laws;

(6) Complete tax declaration and annual audit, submit returns to governmental departments, complete various work including tax payment, account rendering, annual inspection etc.,

(7) Good character, critical thinking, good communication, execution and teamwork abilities;

(8) First-time contract lasts 3 years or more, with a trial period of 6 months.

International Communications Specialist

(1) Bachelor’s degree or above in a foreign language (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish preferred);

(2) Applicants with study or work experience in Europe preferred; international applicants preferred;

(3) Good personal image, abilities in event planning and communication;

(4) International business trips required, strong sense of responsibility and passion for museum career;

(5) Ability to coordinate and use resources, good patience;

(6) Skills in office software;

(7) Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, capabilities of working under high pressure, expanding work and crisis management;

(8) First-time contract lasts 3 years or more, with a trial period of 6 months.

Administrative Receptionist

Requirements:

(1) College degree or above required; applicants speaking English, Korean, Japanese or Shanghai dialect preferred;

(2) Good personal image, good abilities in coordination and teamwork, work responsibility good spirit of service;

(3) Familiarity with front-desk daily management and administrative archives;

(4) Skills in office software;

(5) Good communication skills, willingness to complete fundamental work;

Online Sales Specialist

Requirements:

(1) Bachelor’s degree or above in computer network, e-commerce, finance, marketing, management or related fields;

(2) Applicants with experience in web promotion or online sales preferred;

(3) Familiarity with the Internet, good skills in online sales and office software, good communication skills;

(4) Ability to manage online sales platform, release and publicize new product information;

(5) Good communication and learning skills, high professionalism;

(6) Ability to communicate effectively with customers through phone or online;

(7) Ability to expand new markets and new customers to enhance product sales;

(8) Responsibilities: sales of artworks and creative products in art galleries and associate units;

(9) First-time contract lasts 3 years or more, with a trial period of 6 months.

Art Gallery Assistant

(3-5 spots)

Requirements:

(1) College degree or above in marketing or art-related fields;

(2) Fluency in English or other foreign language;

(3) Responsible for artworks, gifts and product sales in the museum’s art galleries;

(4) Good qualities in arts, understanding in arts and crafts;

(5) Jolly personality, good communication skills and sense of responsibility, strong abilities in extending business development and spirit of service;

(6) Applicants with household registration in Yangtze River Delta region preferred;

(7) Driver’s license and computer skills required;

(8) First-time contract lasts 3 years or more, with a trial period of 6 months; upcoming graduates receive an internship allowance, and outstanding interns can be hired after internship.

Interns

(1-2 spots)

Requirements:

(1) Undergraduate seniors; no restrictions in major, but applicants with specialized skills (including design, foreign language, e-commerce, etc.) are preferred;

(2) Passionate, optimistic personality, quick learning ability, good communication skills;

(3) Passion in the cause of culture and art, hardworking, willingness to complete fundamental work;

(4) Internship lasts not less than 3 months with allowance; outstanding interns can be hired after internship.
