Artist: Park Jong-hoon

Park Jong-hoon studied under master Kim Seok-hwan at Dankook University. He received the Gold Prize at the Korea Fine Artists Association Exhibition in 1979 and the Excellence Award at the National Art Exhibition of Korea in 1984. To date, he has held 21 solo exhibitions.

Park is a professor in the Department of Ceramic Arts at the College of Art and Design, Dankook University, and serves as Director of the university’s Hangjin Ceramic Research Institute. He is also President of the Korea Big Bowl Society and has served as a juror for both the Korea Craft Exhibition and the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Craft Exhibition.
