“Hurun Report” published a lengthy interview with the charge of Shanghai Art Collection Museum
Ms. Wang Lan and the delegation first visited "From the East to the West - Collection Exhibition of International Arts and Crafts" which is being held in the museum, and inquired in detail about the source of collection and the characteristics of arts and crafts works from various countries. The unique and fine crafts got wide appreciation from the delegation.
Hu Muqing, the President of the museum, reported the daily operation, collection features, activities, team building, cultural & creative products development, academic achievements, public service and other work of the museum to Ms. Wang Lan and the delegation. In recent years, our museum held a series of international cultural exchange activities supporting the “Shanghai Culture” brand building launched by CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and the building of “International Boutique District” of Changning District.
Ms. Wang Lan highly affirmed the work of the museum, especially the international cultural exchanges, the unique collection and the development of cultural and creative products. She said that the district government will continue to support the work of the museum, and will continue to be the organizer of the 10th International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts hosted by the museum. She also said that Changning District, as the central urban area with one third of the Consulates General in Shanghai, hopes that the museum will play a better role in international cultural exchanges and contribute more to the development of "Shanghai Culture" brand and Changning's cultural activities.
Xing Wei, Director of the District Government Office, Xu Ling, Director of the District Government Policy Research Office, Kang Wenhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the District Culture and Tourism Bureau, and Jin Lei, Deputy Director of the District Government Office, participated in the investigation.
Li Shuiqing, Executive Director of the museum, and Niu Jinjin, deputy Director of the museum attended the report meeting.
