The 8th International (Shanghai) ICH Protection Forum was held

On June 11th, a commemoration to celebrate the 15th Cultural and Natural Heritage Day of China and a brand project of “Shanghai Culture” – the 8th International (Shanghai) Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Forum was held successfully in Shanghai.
 
 
 
All guests are enthusiastic about ICH protection and actively attended the forum.
 
Guided by Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Foreign Affairs Office and Changning District People's Government, the 8th International (Shanghai) Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Forum was organized by Shanghai Art Collection Museum, Shanghai Art & Design Academy and Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center. It was also a series activity of the 10th International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts.
Themed by “Many a Little Makes a Mickle”, this forum discussed the social division of labor of intangible cultural heritage protection under different systems and policies and the responsibility of community in the process of urbanization, exchanged and learned from each other's common experience in the field of intangible cultural heritage protection, improved the level of intangible cultural heritage protection, with a view to trickle into stream of cultural water and jointly promoted the development of intangible cultural heritage protection.
