On June 10th, a commemoration to celebrate the 16th Cultural and Natural Heritage Day of China as well as the 10th anniversary of Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of China and a brand project of “Shanghai Culture” – the 9th International (Shanghai) Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Forum was held successfully in Shanghai.

Guided by Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipality and Changning District People's Government, the 9th International (Shanghai) Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Forum was organized by Shanghai Art Collection Museum, Shanghai Art & Design Academy and Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center. It was also a series activity of the 11th International Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts.Themed by “Tracing Art in the Heart”, this forum brought together the wisdom of experts and scholars from around the world to discuss the present challenges and opportunities facing ICH protection.
