12th Intl Exhibition of Traditional Fine Arts is coming!



From July 12th, Arabic calligraphy, Turkish photography, crystal jewelry worn by Miss Czech, Persian glassware, and Japanese Ukiyo-e, Chinese black pottery and other wonderful artworks will be exhibited in the 12th International Traditional Fine Arts Exhibition. The exhibition will be open to the public from July 20th. 



Themed as "Art Diversity", the exhibition is listed in the program of building the brand of "Shanghai Culture" and in the major projects of Revitalization Plan of Shanghai Traditional Arts and Crafts. The exhibition is also the first international art exhibition after Shanghai resumes production.

The exhibition attracts more than 100 artists from 22 countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Poland, USA, Germany, Canada, Iran, Mexico, Austria, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Turkey, Egypt, Romania, Argentina, Ukraine, Slovakia, Pakistan, Oman, Tunisia and Armenia.


Domestic exhibits

The exhibition attracts Chinese master of arts and crafts, intangible culture heritage inheritors and novel artists from around China;

International Exhibits

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, the Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai organized two Ukiyo-e works by the world-renowned artist Katsushika Hokusai


Ukiyoe "Buying the bird in the cage" by Katsushika Hokusai


       Czech Consulate General in Shanghai organized a number of exquisite Czech crystal, jewelry and paintings to participate;

 Crystal jewlery "The Foppish" by Czech artist Olga Kapalova, the work has been worn by Miss Czech 


      Turkish Consulate General organized a number of award-winning photography in the exhibition, displaying the exotic culture and scenery of Türkiye

    Apart from that, the artworks from Slovakia, Egypt, Oman, Tunisia, Romania, Mexica, United States, Iran, Pakistan, and Ukrain will be exhibited as well.
