Intl Children’s Creative Art Exhibition-Yogyakarta Tour Launched

On the morning of July 23rd, the Tour Exhibition of the 9th International Children's Creative Art Exhibition in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with the theme of " Dreams for the Future" was launched at the Sonobudoyo Museum.
The exhibition was jointly organized by Shanghai Art Collection Museum (SACM) and Sonobudoyo Museum, with the support of Shanghai Education Development Foundation, Yogyakarta Culture Office and more than 40 museums directly under the Yogyakarta Special Administrative Region (YSAR).
The grand opening ceremony was grandure and full of distinguished guests. Dian Lakshmi Pratiwi, Head of Culture Office of D.I.Yogyakarta, Deni Mulyana, Head of Presidential Palace Office of Yogyakarta, Budi Trinovar, Head of National Committee of International Council of Museums (ICOM) in Indonesia, Ery Sustiyadi, President of Sonobudoyo Museum, Heads of Official Office and Education Office of Government of Yogyakarta, and other guests from Indonesian governmental departments and cultural institutions participated in the ceremony. Hu Muqing, President of the Shanghai Art Collection Museum attended the ceremony as a special guest.

In conjunction with the Tour exhibition of the 9th International Children's Creative Art Exhibition - Yogyakarta Station, the Department of Culture of Yogyakarta Special Region has organized 42 museums in the province to select valuable collections that are closely related to children, focusing on the creative works of Chinese youth.

Around the exhibition hall, the Yogyakarta Agency for Culture and Tourism organised a special performance of traditional games by Yogyakarta children and teenagers dressed in national costumes.
At the opening ceremony, Dian Lakshmi Pratiwi, Head of Culture Office of D.I.Yogyakarta, and Hu Muqing, President of SACM officially launched the exhibition with other guests.
