TECFA: “Chinese Culture International Promotion” Project

Recently, "Tour Exhibition of Chinese Traditional Fine Arts: New Rhythm of the Maritime Silk Road – Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition", Jakarta Station, (TECFA) organized by the Shanghai Art Collection Museum in collaboration with other institutions, was awarded as a 2024 Shanghai "Chinese Culture International Promotion" Project by the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipality.

From Sep 6th to Oct 6th, 2024, the exhibition was successfully held at the National Gallery of Indonesia. This exhibition was organized by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Indonesia and co-organized by the Shanghai Art Collection Museum, Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Centre, Shanghai Arts Research Centre, and Shanghai Art and Design Academy. The exhibition also receives substantial support from the Foreign Affairs Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government; Indonesian Heritage Agency, the Directorate General of Culture, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (IHA); the Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta; National Gallery of Indonesia (GNI), Shanghai Magnolia Foundation for International Exchange; Shanghai Printing Group Co., Shanghai Juyuan Culture Development Co., etc.

On the evening of September 6th, the "Tour Exhibition of Chinese Traditional Fine Arts - Jakarta Station" was successfully opened at the National Gallery of Indonesia, a cultural landmark in Jakarta.
This exhibition marks a new chapter in cultural exchange and cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, generating a significant social impact. Tempo, Jakarta Post, Watarbuana, Philippines Business, Jawa Pos, Kompas, Hypeabis and many other Indonesian and International media reported the exhibition. Many Chinese mainstream media including the Xinhua News Agency, People's Net, China News Agency, Economy Daily, Jiefang Daily, Wenhui Newspaper, Sina, Tecent, NetEase, Sohu and others also reported the exhibition.

At the bustling National Gallery of Indonesia, the exhibition received an enthusiastic response from local audience. Over the course of its one-month duration, more than 50,000 visitors vistited the exhibition.



Many distinguished guests and visitors left heartfelt and enthusiastic messages after viewing the exhibition, sharing their unique impressions and appreciation. Throughout the one-month exhibition period, multiple guestbooks filled with sincere remarks became a invaluable treasure for the organizers.
