Call for Exhibits! The 11th International Children's Creative Art Exhibition

In July 2026, the 10th International Children’s Creative Art Exhibition, jointly hosted by the Shanghai Children’s Foundation and the Shanghai Education Development Foundation, organized by the Shanghai Art Collection Museum and the Shanghai Changning District Education Foundation, and co-organized by the Shanghai Changning District Civilization Office and the Shanghai Changning District Women’s Federation, will be held at the Shanghai Art Collection Museum.

Since its inception in 2016, the International Children’s Creative Art Exhibition has attracted the participation of more than 5,000 children and young people from over 50 countries, providing a platform for young participants to express themselves and engage in learning and exchange. The exhibition has also toured internationally in Isfahan (Iran), Bali and Yogyakarta (Indonesia), and Tashkent (Uzbekistan). This year, it will further travel to Almaty (Kazakhstan), continuing to write a new chapter in cross-cultural exchange.

The theme of this edition, "Blue Planet in Children’s Hands" The 11th International Children’s Creative Art Exhibition,” serves both as a retrospective tribute to the past ten editions and as a symbol of a new exploration toward the future as the exhibition moves forward.

The exhibition will be organized into four sections: “Coexistence of All Living Things: A Living Tapestry of Our Planetary Home,” “Together on the Blue Planet: Childhood Visions of a Shared Human Future,” “Encounters of Gentle Light: Expressions of Care and Compassion,” and “Seeds of the Future: Imagining a Sustainable Tomorrow.” Together, these sections present the diverse landscape of children’s art. At the intersection of light, shadow, and imagination, young participants will rediscover the beauty of art and embark on a broader journey of growth.

The exhibition encourages and supports the use of diverse materials, cross-disciplinary approaches, and new technologies.

Original artworks that are novel, distinctive, boldly innovative, and full of childlike imagination and innocence are especially welcome.
